Crochet – Ornamental Pot Holders
We’ve just returned from our lovely week in Cornwall I’m in the process of sifting through all the photos – over 1000 of them! I didn’t spend as much time as I thought I would crocheting, our days were busy and by the time we returned home in the evening we were all pretty shattered…
…So here’s the crochet score for the week:
Granny squares = 4 (dismal)
New WIPs started and not finished (obv) = 2 (Why?)
Just Because I Wanted Too Ornamental Pot Holders = 2 (hurrah)
I’ve been wanting to crochet some pot holders for a while now and I found this gorgeous pattern from Crochet with Raymond which features the African flower motif, I’m sure lots of you have tried this one but as I’ve only been crocheting for a year these gorgeous patterns are still new discoveries to me. I love how they turned out, I want to do more but I absolutely must finish some of my WIPs; they are starting to haunt me!
And here they are hanging about the kitchen!
Pretty, pretty, pretty.
Bye for now. Em xx
