Lazy Days…
The children have been home for the past two weeks for their half term holiday. I love the October half term as with Halloween and Bonfire Night there is always lots to look forward to, but as the nights draw in it’s also a perfect time to cosy up and do very little…
…and a bit of Harry Potter
…We’ve done lots of baking, picked out & carved our pumpkins, gone for walks, snuggled up and watched films, visited friends and family and enjoyed fireworks in the garden. We also managed to take the children to the Harry Potter Studio Tour in London, which was just amazing.
I’ve been crocheting lots over the holiday and have some nice things to show once the children go back to school and I get time to photograph it all. I cant believe it’s November already and only 7 weeks until Christmas, every year I say I will be more organised and every year it creeps up on me so I really should get started.
Anyway, I just thought I’d do a little update and share some photos while all is calm for 5 minutes. Everything will be back to normal next week and I think I’ll miss these lazy days.

Oli attempted to find the BIGGEST pumpkin of all…

…while K and I fell in love with all the baby pumpkins 🙂

So many pumpkins, so little time!

We enjoyed hanging out in the Gryffindor common room…

Taking a peek at Dumbledore’s office,

the potions room,

drinking Butter Beer and knocking to see if a certain young wizard was home for the holiday (sadly he wasn’t!)

Walking down Diagon Alley, DIAGON ALLEY!
Such amazing sets if you have any Harry Potter fans at home I’d definitely recommend it.
Hope you have had happy and safe Halloween/Bonfire celebrations.
Bye for now. Em xx
