A Fourth Birthday
Hello. I feel like my posts are getting increasingly sporadic as the end of the school term approaches – I apologise. Life is full of end of nursery and school activities, birthdays, anniversaries, revision and a constant feeling that I have forgot something!
I’m just popping in today to announce the winner of the Pearl Lowe Vintage Craft Book giveaway and share some photos from Lulu’s 4th Birthday…
and a giveaway winner

Congratulations Mim, I have emailed you for your address. I hope you enjoy the book as much as I have 🙂
We had a lovely day Saturday celebrating Lulu’s 4th birthday. The day was full of sun, friends, family, food, cake and laughter – it was really lovely. I can hardly believe that 4 years have passed so quickly and that she will be starting school in September. I’m trying hard to make the most of the time I have left with her at home. I have a feeling I will be a bit lost in September.

So here she is on her special day my cheeky tomboy. I thought I was being quite clever when I told her that I had bought her a special ‘pirate’ skirt to wear for her party (lulu refuses to wear skirts). However, it backfired quickly when I collected her from nursery on Friday (the day before her party) to find she had told all her friends she was having a pirate party *gulp* and they should all dress up!
So on Saturday we had a very un-piratey pirate party for Lulu in the garden where we played lots of un-piratey games and ate some very un-piratey food!

Happy Birthday lovely, happy Lulu – we love you lots. You and your gaggle of imaginary friends (‘the boys’) make me smile every day.
Bye for now. Em xx
